| Windsurfing: | Hardcore Windsurfing spot with north/northwestern wind. Depending on the swell, waves can get really big and extremly powerful. When the wind already enters in Las Americas, but doesn't blow strong enough close to the beaches (whitecaps outside), it might be good in Alcalá. |
| Surfing: | There are three surfable waves. Best swell direction is north to northeast. The lefthander at the left edge of the bay is one of the most powerful waves of the island- getting washed here is no fun at all! More relaxed is the wave, breaking in front of the only house. Beach: sharp lava- rocks. |
